Mark Benson Custom Heavy Weight Trumpet Mouthpiece, Made by Kanstul
This mouthpiece was made for San Francisco-based trumpet player Mark Benson. Mark had such a positive experience with a custom mouthpiece we had made for him previously that he decided to commission another. This time he was looking for a very dark symphonic sound but still wanted to have some flexibility and ease. The result was this heavy, yet graceful mouthpiece with a large diameter cup.

Bold and dark! Consistent tone and good intonation throughout its range. Comfortable rim. This mouthpiece has an efficient throat and backbore, feels balanced, and slots firmly.
