Born into a musical family, Daniel Falcone began working professionally in Las Vegas at age 15. Without a doubt, Dan is Las Vegas royalty: son of Vincent Falcone, musical director, pianist and conductor for Frank Sinatra, and he literally grew up on stage. As early as high school, Daniel was already backing the likes of Tony Bennett, Rita Moreno, Jerry Lewis, George Burns, Andy Williams, Jack Jones, Paul Anka and many other headliners on the Las Vegas Strip.
After high school he attended USC, and soon he was touring and playing with some of the world’s finest orchestras, including the London Philharmonic. After his time at USC, Danny returned to Las Vegas, playing for many headliners and production shows until he was asked to join the Tom Jones band as the lead trumpet player in 1998. After a 2 year world tour, Dan returned to Las Vegas to perform in the Ricky Martin production, “Storm” at the Mandalay Bay Hotel. Next, Dan joined Paul Anka full-time and toured for many years playing lead trumpet and recording two albums and a DVD. He later joined the Las Vegas production of Broadway Musical “Hairspray”.
Dan performed with Toni Braxton for more than a year before joining the Las Vegas production of Broadway hit “Jersey Boys”. About this time, Dan also performed with Bette Midler for a run at Caesar’s Palace, which culminated in an HBO concert performance. For the last decade, Dan has been the lead trumpet player for Celine Dion both in Las Vegas and a world tour. Daniel also plays lead trumpet with Lady Gaga on her fabulous Jazz and Piano show as well as her current projects. Danny is also a regular member of the wildly popular Las Vegas-based band Santa Fe and the Fat City Horns!
TV credits include a number of late-night, award and variety shows including Late Night with David Letterman, The Tonight Show with Jay Leno, The American Country Music Awards, The Billboard Music Awards, the American Music Awards, Lionel Richie and Friends, the American Country Music Awards, the Latin Grammys, the BET Awards, The Oprah Winfrey Show, The View, The Today Show, Good Morning America, and has been a member of the Jerry Lewis Telethon Orchestra.

Danny's personal rim and cup is best described as having a semi-round rim that is comfortable, and wide enough to offset lip swelling. At 0.625" inner diameter, this is close in size to a 10 1/2C. The cup is medium shallow and bowl-shaped. This mouthpiece is on a Monette-style "LT" blank, giving it considerable core while retaining flexibility and a free blow.

Danny visited us at the Kanstul factory years ago and spent the day with our mouthpiece maker. Dan played each one as it came off the CNC, peeling the paint off the factory walls - much to Zig's consternation. After a few hours of this, Zig decided that enough was enough, and as soon as the receipt was printed he showed Danny to the door, locking it after him! This is Danny's story and he probably tells it better =)
